Starting November 12,2000 Best Buy will be having a sale on PC100 32MB memory chips limit 2 for $9.99 after $15.00 mail-in rebate. This memory would be good for getting your old computers or even mom and pops computer up to speed!!!!
Yeah my second post hopefully a better deal this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice deal. I'm giving my parents my old K6-3 system but needed some memory. I want to give them at least 64mb with it.

Any word if other sizes will be also on sale?

I'm sure some people will have use for 32s but I'm looking for 128s and up.

Thanks
WW

While browsing the net I found out Best Buy will be selling 64mb pc-100 for $79.99 - $20 instant rebate = $59.99 and you get a $20 gift card.

It's Kingston "Value Ram". Found it on their website for $24.95 "Holiday" pricing. Still looking for where the rebate is.

Only rebate at their site I found was for 128mb Kingston, no 32mb's.

Where would one find the rebate for 32mb's?

Free shipping BTW.

Just picked up two sticks of the 32 mb 100 flavor. They printed out two separate rebate slips, so since it is one per household, guess my neighbor just bought some memory :)

The 64 mb stick is $79 -$20 (That is the gift cert), so it comes out as $59 total.

Two 32's still work out a better deal. after rebates $18.98

They (32MB) are Kingston indeed, 4x64PC100 . Kingston's id: KVR-PC100/32R and one of the sticks I bought has Infenion, the other Nanya chips.
Thanks for the tip.

A lot of the "pc133 CL2" RAM ordered from equalfooting turned out to be Nanya chips, and they couldn't post at ANY speed at cas2.

These must be in very limited supply. My Best Buy only had like 10 total and I bought 2 of them 15 minutes after they opened. The guy told me they only had like 4 left when I bought mine. Better hurry and snatch these up. Good deal for my Grandmothers computer upgrade.

Nanya and infenon both worked fine on my Compaq Presario 7470.
But you guys probably have supertuned PC's :)

mine has nanya chips also. 7.5 ns actually, so it seems to be decent stuff atleast, I haven't tried mine out yet. Ok deal for B&M, and yeah the MIR is one per household.

The web site shows Toshiba chips on their "sample" picture. Anybody get that? Can you see the chips through the box/package it comes in or do you have to open it up to see what chips it uses????
