I doubt that was really free. Tuition and/or a meal plan cost someone some serious cash. Unless of course you're five-fingering or working there..

I bought around $4 dollars of food at the Costco food court once.. ate it all.. it was a ton of food.

Beat that!

Lunch from home doesn't count.

What's even better is that you can go through Costco and pick up free samples. The other day they had samples of shrimp scampi and samples of pork bbq.

Agreed. I'll take that over a hot dog anyday.

A Costco hot dog is unlike any ordinary hot dog.

Local RaceTrack has $0.99 hotdogs (the good kind) and a free 32oz soda for a limited time. Load up on condiments and you have a four-course meal for $1.08

Costco and Sam's are good, of course you're paying a membership for that privilege.. :)

I bring Trader Joe's or Whole Foods frozen dinners. Much healthier than the competition and If I bring fresh fruit or some nuts or something it's a meal for about $3

Top Ramen. 1 package: $0.10.

It has liquid to drink and solid to eat. Win/win, especially in winter. Best to eat in an air-conditioned room in the summer. Or a walk-in freezer.
