Where can I buy some?

Anyone have any suggestions.

Don't have to be more than 1-2gb. Standard EIDE interface.

I like this place; they sell pulls from bulk shipments that they get from Corporate customers.

PC Liquidator

$39.95 for a 1GB/$51.95 for a 2GB. $4 for a 365MB. :)

That doesn't include shipping though. They change their prices pretty often; that's just what they've got listed today.

Those prices sound extremely high, especially for pulls. A new 30gb 7200 should be less than $100. Check the hot deals forum...

I don't need 30gb. It's for a Linux firewall. 1 gb is very spacious. :)

We're going for price here, not quantity.

Here in Kansas City, there's a company caled Surplus Exchange. I picked up a couple of 800 MB HDD's for $10 each, 'previously owned'. You'll find their website here. I don't know if they will ship or not, but it might be worth contacting them.

IF you're willing to take a gamble and wait a while, I bet you could get one on ebay really cheap. Better yet would be a computer show, or some little independent shop.

<< Just sold a 6.4GB IDE newly refurbished HD for $41 and I only charged $3.95 for postage. >>

I should have said "eBayed" instead of "sold"

I can sell ya a 1.6 gb drive for $20 shipped. It's a used Western Digital (or is it Maxtor?). I'd have to check it when I get home. LMK if you're interested.
