What long distance service (besides your Sprint or AT&T home long distance) do you use ? Priceline.com? I know there are a few out there. I just came across bigzoo.com and was wondering what you guys thought of it.

I'm more concerned with rates to Canada and will need some minutes for UK/France soon.

Opinions?

Bigzoo is great, especially if you use the local dial-up numbers + pinskip.

2.9¢ is great if you spend hours on the phone.

The only complaint I have is occasional disconnects, especially if you're quiet (ie one person walks away from the phone for a few minutes). I dunno if it does it intentionally, or what, but if the line is quiet for too long it will disconnect you.

Other than that, and the minor annoyance of not direct dialing, bigzoo is great.

Hi there!

Skoorb and I make all of our long distance calls to Canada.

RossMAN told us about bigzoo.com and it has proved to be the best service for us. You have to call a 1-888 number and with pinskip (skipping the step where you have to enter your pin number), you dial the number you want to call and no problem! It is cheap and reliable with no monthly payment. You pay for what you use. I like that. I would highly recommend for sure! :)

THanx guys. Does it ever expire your minutes? It looks like you charge it up with $5, $10 or whatever, but does it give you something like 3 months to use it like Priceline.com does?

Your account is active for six months after your last recharge, so you basically have six months.

I've never had any minutes expire on me, but then again $50 worth of minutes doesn't last me very long.

:D

Always use a local dial-up number if you can, for every three minutes you're on the phone you've saved yourself an extra minute.

Ahah. That was the other one I was thinking of. The rates between onesuite and bigzoo seem very similar and it's 6-months recharge there too. What to do, what to do... bigzoo has more "fun" features like the pinskip and blastIT... hmm.
