Hello,
Im studying engineering (essentially mechatronics) in college and am searching for a decent laptop costing roughly 450 euros (cheapskate I know... but students arent all that rich).
Ill be running some rather specific programms: Autocad/Solidworks/Solidedge, Mathcad/Matlab, Labview (and possibly a splash of visual C++), maybe Mastercam in the future and perhaps on rare occasions Blender/3ds Max. The laptop should be able to at least run all these programs. So essentially, all I need is a very good bang for buck ratio and decent build quality.
It would also be nice if it had an OK soundcard (dont care about the speakers though) because I tend to play my bass(guitar) through my PC. I dont care about gaming and battery life isnt high on my list, it just needs to be portable. It doesnt need to have any software on it, in fact Id rather it was completely clean.
So, any directions I should take? Recommendations?
