Can anyone recommend a cheap keyboard that will perform reasonably well for gaming? And when I say perform well, I mean I can hold down 4-5 keys at once, and it doesn't require too much pressure to activate a key.

PS2 only, standard design. Anything else is fair game.

I'm looking to spend 10-15. Thanks.

Instead of getting a keyboard for gaming

Have you looked at the Nostromo n50 or n52 SpeedPad?

I have both and love them. The n52 keys need breaking in and the extra row does help but the n50 is also a great item if your budget is a little lower. Prices vary from 20-32.00 on them. 20 for the N50 and 32 on the N52.

well, i still need a keyboard (this is for my new build) and i might as well use it for gaming too. I'm not picky at all since I've used whatever keyboard I've had on hand up to now. I just want something that I know will be OK at gaming.

that doesn't look bad. Personally i use a Microsoft Natural Multimedia and have used some form of the Microsoft Natural keyboard for the last 4 years so i'm not too sure.

I had a memorex multimedia keyboard for awhile : that one wasn't bad, but it wasn't very responsive i guess. I didn't like it compared to my natural or even this dell keyboard i have at work.

The cheaper logitechs arn't bad, my sister uses them all the time and likes them a lot.

if you get a cheap microsoft you always ahve the advantage of replacement plan :D

I love the Logitech Ultra X.
Its two tone, silver & black, low profile.. keys have a soft "laptop" type of feel.. It would take a little getting used to, but once you did, you would never go back to big, bulky keyboards..

Its a little above your budget though at $19.00

I was considering that before actually. I don't know, I think I prefer the standard bulky keys: easier to keep track of yourself while typing. And yeah, I would rather go the cheaper route.
