I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you avoid pre-paying for more than a month or two of service. There is no need to prepay to get a good deal.

Freedomlist.com < The hot-deals forum for dial-up deals. Plenty of ISP's to choose from, from about $5/month & up.

The "Cheapest Of The Cheap" ISPs list has been updated (see the first post on page 1 of this thread).
I removed all of the ISPs that require more than 6 month advance payment to meet the guidelines of the "CHEAPEST OF THE CHEAP" ISPs list.
