Now this is a hot deal! All you have to do is ask a simple question in "hot deals" about getting the best deal from Dell, and you can get all the cheap insults you want! That's right, instead of finding helpful, mature adults with answers, you get grade-school mentallity responses to your questions. Want to see more? Just read some of the replies this thread gets! And to top it off, a question about hot deals should go in hot deals, or how the heII is it going to be answered by the right people?

Well, there are many reasons why asking "a simple question" as you'd like is not permitted here. One reason is that if it were tolerated, eventually many people would be requesting for hot deals and then this forum would be cluttered with posts asking for deals (as opposed to actually providing them), and thus making it hard to find and filter out the truly hot deals. It's not that your one question is really that annoying, but it is the potential problem of seeing a myriad of questions surfacing...especially if they're going to be repeat questions or questions that one could easily find the answer to...(ie, someone asks for a hot Dell deal one week, another person asks another week, etc etc.--> Why not just run a search and see what deals have been posted relevant to Dell instead of asking?) We don't need duplicate information on the forums.

As for people insulting you in the way they did, well, I think that is wrong, but that's a whole different issue. Your post here doesn't justify or earn you any exception for your previous thread nor for this one.
