Cheap hotel in Boston

I need a cheap hotel in the Boston/Cambridge area for next weekend. Anyone have any recommendations?

Stay in a hostel.

Seriously.

If given the opportunity to never stay in a hotel again, and only stay in hostels, I'd take it in a heartbeat. I stayed in them for the past 2 months backpacking China, the first time I've stayed in them, and it was the greatest thing I've ever done.

Last time I needed a hotel at the last minute, I stayed at the double tree on storrow drive. It was $99 a night. There are some cheaper places on storrow drive (near the Mcdonalds, Liquour Store and Staples.....right before the Watertown gas station). Unlike double tree though, they had no shuttle.
