$250 to $350 delivered from ebay.
Just a note to those looking for a cheap, powerful laptop for the house if you can work on computers.
One year ago I got a Dell e6530 Latitude from ebay with I-7 3720QM (QM is important - passmark 8165) , 8GB DDR3, lit KB, bluetooth, 320GB 5400RPM hdd, removable DVD for less than $300 delivered. There are many from $250 to $350 delivered every time I look.
Mine came with working win7, but I reinstalled and went with an SSD. Very , very fast.

I suggest getting one complete with a battery, charger, and HDD because it insinuates a working unit.
The removable DVD is interesting because it allows easy insertion of a 'caddy' to backup system and/or use for data inplace of any SATA dvd. $15 caddy - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005G4RZNU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I don't think you can get faster for twice the price and the Latitudes are nice machines. The drawback is they are larger and heavier than a new ultrabook.
