Cheap Graphics Upgrade

I was recently given an old PC.

I want to turn it into a home entertainment center running OpenELEC on Linux. The stupid computer only comes with a digiport or VGA output. My TV doesn't have DigiPort and VGA won't carry sound.

I was hoping to buy a very cheap graphics card which will just give me a HDMI port to hook it up to my TV. It doesnt need to handle gaming specs just transfer streamed and DVD movies 720HD max.

It is a hp compaq 8100 elite cmt, the power source is total output power 320w.

If anyone can advise me as to a solution it would be appreciated.

Buy what ever GPU you can find that fits your budget, doesn't have PCIe connectors for additional power, is from a relatively recent series (I'd say Radeon 5XXX, Geforce 2XX or newer), and has HDMI. The newer, the better, of course. And passive cooling is always a boon for that kind of usage, as long as your case has some airflow.
