Just filled up my tank at $2.79/gal. I remember paying $3.79 very recently. That's $1 per gallon so I just pocketed $16 every week. That's some serious lunch money there. I'm feeling rich!!!

Costco has $2.99/gal out here which is super cheap and by far the lowest I've seen it in years. It's actually stayed at that price longer than a week.

I saw $2.85 at one of the cheap gas stations a couple of days ago.

Looks like prices have dropped even farther since then. $2.69 is the cheapest in the local area!

lol @ poor people that worry about the price of gas, and overlook all the other shit they're wasting money on each month.

SF gas prices are still in the 3.50+ range (depending on where you are). I left the city last weekend and saw 3.09 and was blown away.

Although, I don't care much about the cost of gas anymore. Motorcycle ftw.

Yeah, or it might have something to do with practically every member of OPEC taking their ball and going home. It's going to take a while for that cartel to pull itself back together, way longer than another week.

HEY! Cheap gas gives us po folks more money to waste on other shit!! :colbert:

At $2.70-$2.90, gas isn't cheap. In 1998, Gas in Corbin, KY was $0.49 and in Lexington @ $0.59 per gallon. Oil was $10.25 per barrel.

That's when gas was cheap.

Gas is less expensive than it was just a few months ago though.
