$1.14 for regular
$1.24 for medium or whatever they call it (sorry)
$1.34 for premium

It's been going for a while so be prepared to wait.

I only waited 12 mins last night to fill up

I think the average in the Raleigh area is around $1.34-1.48

Same thing happening in Winston-Salem. Super Kmart is $1.12. Surrounding stations are matching. The other side of town is still $1.30+.

Super K gas only opened 2 wks ago here....

cheapest gas around West Covina that I know of is on sunset at 1.65 a gallon for regular. Most stations are 1.89 around here.

riznick, if you are a costco member, check there. these east coasters are lucky.

In my part of Los Angeles (south bay), Costco gas is 30-40 cents a gallon below elsewhere.

1.519 for reg and 1.619 for premium (Hawthorne store)

I never understood why people are so obsessive with getting the absolute cheapest gas price. If you figure it out, it's not that big of a difference, unless you are, say, a trucker or something. At the top, it says it's $1.14 for regular, and the normal price is $1.34. So $.20 per gallon, or $3 for a whopping fifteen gallon fillup, is it worth waiting in line for?

Home heating oil, that makes a difference. Ditto for Boats, where you're buying hundreds of gallons at a time.

I know it sucks when gas gets expensive, you're paying more money for something that you're getting no additional value out of, but I don't understand why people line up around the corner at Costco by me. They wait for close to an hour, for what, the privilege of saying they got $1.25 gas? An hour of my time is worth a whole lot more than $3.

It's hot in the summer in Arizona, you probably burn close to a 1/2 gallon idling, keeping your air conditioner on, plus wear on your engine.

You stole my thunder, mail...whenever people find these "hot" deals for cheap stuff to begin with, you always have to figure out what your time is worth. Waiting in a line to save a couple of bucks on a hot day?
I don't think so...Now, if you could buy it and stockpile it, that would be another story. It's like all these people desperately trying to get in on the "free jellybelly" promotions...about a dime's worth of jellybeans vs. the time and effort made to get in on this so-called great deal..heheh...don't get me wrong, some things are just fun to do and I understand that, but always consider how valuable your time is...it's the only real commodity you have.

grr who cares if you have a suv or a car w/ a big tank it will save you a lot of cash.

If you don't have a lot of time go at a odd time (i.e. 5a.m.) or go waste your money at another gas station 🙂

gar598,

No argument there, it will save you cash, but a "lot"? How much gas does your SUV hold? Even a 30 gallon tank only saves you $6.

In fact,

Fact (a), if someone's so concerned with the price of gas that they will wait in line to save $.20 a gallon then they should not be driving a SUV!!!?! in the first place.

Something seems odd about that combination.

And 5 am? Is it really worth it for 4-5 bucks? Getting up at 5 am, i mean? It wouldn't be for me, but everyone has their price.

I'd chalk it up to paying $1.25 makes people feel special, like they're getting something no one else is, and perhaps that special feeling is worth something (in addition to the 3 bux.)

You ever read a book called Tightwads Gazette? It's good information, I got a lot out of it, but some of the advice is right out the back, if you know what I mean. One lady hand washes plastic ziploc plastic bags and reuses them over and over and over, it's great to conserve, and to live frugally, but you gotta draw the line. Washing out a 1/2 cent baggie does not seem like a good use of my time.
