Current setup:

Q Pack Case with 400watt PSU
AMD Sempron 2400+ Socket A CPU
ABIT Micro VA-20 Socket A motherboard
Sapphire 9600XT Video Card
1 gig of dual 512mb Corsair Value Ram Dimms.
Broken Lite DVD rom

Proposed upgrade:

MOBO Upgrade: BIOSTAR TForce6100-939 Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Video Card: SAPPHIRE 100130VIVO Radeon X800GTO2 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card

(Intend to unlock and overclock)

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3200BPBOX

CD Drive: NEC DVD Burner

I intend to keep the Case, PSU, Ram and harddrive. (The only thing I'm worried about is the PSU... But as this is a budget upgrade I don't really want to splurge on some super Antec 600WATT MEGATRON power supply.)

Advice or opinions would be appreciated. If the writing was not on the wall, this upgrade is for greater gaming performance.

Because when you're in the market for a Micro Motherboard, limiting your choices to micro motherboards without integrated video limit you options considerably. Remember, this is for a Q Pac case. A regular ATX motherboard will not fit.

maybe its cheap?

It's cheap, supporting my goal of making a decent yet cheap gaming upgrade. Yet it still has excellent reviews.

Go with the Asrock 939 Sata then, its 70 bucks and I'm sure it performs better than that.

I was looking at the other board because it had all of the ports I needed and the 97 reviews gave it considerable credibility. In what way would the Asrock 939 Sata perform better? Is it a better board for gaming? How so?

Yes, a dial up modem. But I haven't needed a second PCI slot since. Will the cooler of the X800GTO2 become a problem?

Does your power supply have a ATX12V CPU power connector? PCIe video power connector? Adequate power on the 12V rail? I think you can do without the PCIe power connector (assuming it's required, which I think it is) via adapters.

Most of these guys didn't have nice things to say about (some of the) Qpack PSU's, but some say they've had no problems.
