Cheap Gaming LCD - Needed Badly

That or plans for a desk that will work for someone in bed and hold a 19" heavy monitor. I have a surgery coming up that is going to keep me in bed for close to a month. I play alot of games and spend time on the internet. I cannot think of anyway to get my 19" monitor in a comfortable viewing angle without heading down to a wielding shop. So next best thing.... Try to come up with a lcd monitor. I am really tight on money so I cannot afford one of the nicer ones. I guess you could say I am looking for the best of the worst. Probably 15" as dont see how I could afford a 17". Thanks up front all.

I don't think you're going to find anything suitable. 🙁

You might want to consider buying or renting one of those playstation 1's with the LCD monitors ($200 new).

I have a NEC MultiSync LCD 1700M+ that is real nice but it's $800... I'm guessing that's too high. Get a 17", they can be had for pretty cheap.

Go to office depot and get you one of the folding tables...I got mine for $30...I know all kinds of people that go to LAN parties that use 21" on them...no problem. You can also use card tables, but i would buy a sheet of plywood to set the CRT on if you do that. Another possible solution would be to buy a solid core door and set it on a couple of high file cabinets if you want it to stretch across your bed...much better than buying a lousy LCD...

Any office supply store has those adjustable swing-arm monitor clamps.

Attach one to a desk or whatever beside the bed and swing it into place as needed.
