Hi, I'm looking into upragding my father's computer to a 750MHz Duron. Of course, I'll need to get a new mobo as well. I would like to find the cheapest Socket A board that has at least one ISA slot, and is stable as a rock. It DOES NOT need to have any oc capabilities at all, it only needs to be dirt cheap.
Thanks!

EPoX EP-8KTA3 $90 very good board for that price. supports both 100 and 133mhz bus, ( so you can upgrade in the future to the new athlon/athlon4's)

FIC AZ11 $65 an ok board, (not great) but ok :) only supports 100mhz bus, so it wont be able to hold the new "c" athlons or the soon to come out athlon4's

uhhh well actually the mobile athlon4 is also 100mhz but you get the idea i hope, hehehe

How about the Biostar KLE133 board? It's only $79 from TCWO. It includes onboard video and sound, 3 PCI slots, and will accept both the old 200MHz. Athlon and Duron processors and the new 266MHz. Athlons, and probably the Athlon 4 processor as well.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, I won't be able to follow any of your suggestions since I can't find any of the boards you mentioned in a local shop, and I don't want to order online, customs would bump the price( I'm from Canada...:( ) I would have really liked to get the EPoX mobo, but I can't get it...So, I decided to buy an MSI K7T-T
