Cheap digital camera

I need a new digital camera (replacing an aging canon s200). I don't have a ton of cash and this camera would be mostly for pictures of friends and stuff like that.

Any recommendations?
 
In these types of price ranges, there is not really a huge quality difference between most of them. Cheap camera vs cheap camera.

What is wrong with your Canon anyway? I still have a Canon S30 that I use. Just because it is 3mp does not mean it is no good.

Well, the connector for the sync cable is messed up, the battery dies after about 25 pictures, and I believe I just recently misplaced the charger... replacing those is about 50-70 bucks. I figured it probably wasn't worth it.
 
check out FS/T and see whats up for grabs. then check reviews on it,maybe ebay pricing or some such to check what its worth
