Cheap Dead silent PC + Vapochill ... Suggestions

This is being posted because i cant make up my mind..


I am getting a vapochill XE this week and i want to build a dead-silent PC....



I just need to know which CPU/motherboard/ram i should go with...

Im looking for the best value at the CHEAPEST possible price ... i.e. (CPU < $250 , Motherboard < $200 , 1GB Ram < $300 )

All this time I thought the Vapochill was for top of the line stuff to see how far you can push it and prove you have a wallet. I must admit, ur post is the first of the kind I seen. g/l in you venture and sorry I could not be more help 🙁

thats an interesting use of the vapochill. I dunno about how quiet the compressor is tho...

Anyways, if you want cheap and performance...
1. Crucial Ballistix ram is just under 300$ for 2x 512
2. A64 939 nforce3 mobo's are usually between 100$-150$ depending on what features you want
3. A64 939 3500+ is 350$ at www.newegg.com

Socket 754 is cheaper...

DFI board that overclocks well is <100$ if i recall correctly
A64 3400+ might be in your price range. Newegg.com CPU section isnt working for me right now...
