cheap custom framing

Where do you ladies and gentlemen get your custom framing done? I really don't care if it's "custom", but the print sizes are not standard. I have a 32 X 24 inch print and a 40 X 20 inch print, and a limited budget.

It seems the cheapest I can find (with no matting) is between $75 and $100 for each print. Am I being unrealistic in looking for cheaper. I'd even take a poster frame from Walmart if they weren't all 36 X 24 inches.

Those prices sound reasonable if the store is going to custom make the frame to fit your pics. Why not buy a miter saw, glue, nails, etc. and start a new hobby of building frames to fit your pics?

That has crossed my mind. However I live in an apartment and don't have a good place to work or store tools. Maybe I'll get my dad to do it. I think the hardest part will be cutting the groove for the glass to fit in. A couple of swipes with the table saw should take care of that though.
