I've given up on Wamu. Free checks for life isn't enough to cover the fact that they let my wife take hundreds of dollars out of my account when the balance was $10. They just want the $30 fees. I've asked them to NOT process any transactions that would exceed my balance and they refused.

So I'm going to go back to the Union Bank of California account I've kept for years. Even though they're in CA (and I'm in CO), it's worth it.

Who has the cheapest checks to order online?
 
You mean they actually paid out money that wasn't there ? If so, you must have signed up for some kind of overdraft protection ?

Nope. They just told me, "We offer that as a feature in case you are in an emergency situation." Bastards.

What really ticks me off was that the receipt from my wife's withdrawl actually said, "Your account has a negative balance. Please make a deposit as soon as possible."

WTF?

plus it sounds like the real problem is the wife, not the bank.

I say keep the bank, ditch the wife.

Costco has pretty good deals on checks but you have to buy 2 boxes, the best deal I have seen online is http://www.walmartchecks.com/ I have ordered from checks unlimited and you can get one box (but not online) pretty cheap but I think they sell your info.
 
Thanks guys. I've ordered from Current before and was happy with their service. I guess I'll stick with them. $12 shipped for a box works for me.
