Actually...have you checked Home Depot? I bought a 1000ft spool from them for about $80-90. About the same as I paid from a local networking shop for enhanced CAT 5.

Depends upon how much you need.

If you only require a 50 ft length with RJ45 crimped, go to MC Howard on Neils Thompson Lane. They are in the phonebook. 50 foot ready to go costs about $12.00. Shorter lengths are cheaper. Should you have your own crimpers and ends, Home Depot is the best bargain.

They also have 6 ft. USB cables for $1.50 each.

check out local electricians. they usually have left over spolls that have too little cable in them to be useful to them.

What about Fry's up on Parmer Ln.? They're a pretty large store, but they had plenty when I was there and seem to be at a good price. Happy Hunting.
