Hi all,
Just built a newer system for my dad (this is his home one) and everything is decent on it except that I am using my ultra OLD Nvidia Ti500 AGP card. I always loved this card but now it's really loud (not sure why) and loses video at times. I found a place that sells here locally a GigaByte 128MB ATI Radeon 9250 AGP card for 45$ Canadian. I have NEVER heard of this chipset for video cards. Is this actually a step down from his Ti500? Any other suggestions in the AGP and price range for him? He does NOT play games... just work, surf... (has lots of apps open but none are games or video editing or anything like that).

Thanks
Rob

you need at least a 9700p to really "upgrade"

Search Hot Deals and maybe FS/T forums . . . . there are some good Canadian deals . . . is $45CDN your budget limit? [ouch!] if so, i'd go 'used'.
