My aunt is looking for just a tape deck plus installation. I got my CD player installed at the Good Guys, but I was hoping some of you might know any good deals around the Los Angeles area. She doesn't want to spend much, probably under a 100 bucks (including installation). Does anybody know any good places? Thanks!

how about you install it for her? it can't be that hard, just look it up on a few websites or a helms manual for that car.

Haha..i wish I had enough skills to do that. I really would like to learn, but I'd rather practise on my own car...just in case i mess up.

Edited.

Circuit City is offering free installation with decks over $100.

Also a cheap deck by Koss (Cassette or CD) can be had (for $50 or $60) there.

Oops, I replied in the wrong forum without knowing. My bad. But CC is ok.

installing a car stereo is easy. I did mine in about an hour and a half, and that included soldering 11 wires under the dash (I had to attach the connector myself) if there's a simple adapter available for your car, you jsut plug it in and you're good to go.
