My friend wants a cheap gaming pc. He told me to make something around 500 bucks, but Said he will try to save up some more money also. I want to make him a pc that is cheap now...but highly upgradable for the future. He already has some hdd and cd drive from his old pc..so here are the parts I found...
Mobo
As far as I know...it can support c2d or c2quad so he can upgrade if he wants to...
CPU
Cheap Cpu I will try to overclock as High as I can on a scythe ninja...
RAM
He can add another stick later, for now, single channel 1gb should be ok....
Case
Case is clean, prety good looking, and surprisingly...has a quality psu with it. Ive made a build using this case and for 50 bucks...its a steal.
As for a video card....I want him to save up some more cash for a 7900gs, but the other lower choices would be a 7600gt or x800gto. Mainly what he wants is for this pc to be able to run css at 1024x768 or 1280x960 at full quality over 60fps, and be dirt cheap at the same time...so im trying to cut as many corners as possible. What do you guys make of these parts?
