Hi.
In Jan/Feb time i`ll be upgrading my main system.
Leaving a XP1800 and 768mb ram for a second system.
The second system will mostly be used for internet usage. Via a router, which will allow sharing of drives between that and the main system, as well as the ability to MP!
It will also be used as a system to play games on. Both SP (for my dad), and MP (me vs friend).
I have a GF2MX is the cupboard ready for usage. However. I feel it will be insufficient for what i need.
I plan to run games like UT2003, Tribes2. And the Total War series on it (Rome, when i comes out, mainly).
Will a GF2MX be enough? Or should i buy something like a Radeon 9200 128mb? Which i can get for around £50.
It doesnt have to be passive. As i have a "spare" Zalman ZM80C-HP doing nothing at the moment which i can put on.
Software bundle isnt nessessary.

Thanks in advance.

You'll probably need something better than the gf2. Get a 9100/8500 over the 9200 if you can find one for about the same price.

You might try picking up a GF4 4600...you could get them pretty cheap from the FS/FT forum and it would be great for the 1800+

Probably not.

Look for a 128MB 9100, they are faster than even the 9200pro (which is faster than the 9200 your?re considering). Should be close in price to a 9200 also

Im limited to what is available from OC UK, and they dont seem to sell 9100s.
Or Ti4600s. Or Ti4200s.
