cheap BenQ LCD monitors (refurbed) from $180 shipped

All monitors can be found here.

They come with a 90 day limited warranty, but details on it are sketchy. Here is the bulk of what I found.

They are refurbs, which may scare some. But they're cheap, shipped free, and being sold by BenQ themselves. If you're looking for a cheap quality monitor or an inexpensive second monitor, these seem to fit the bill. Might make a nice cheap small TV with the viewsonic TV tuner that's out.

These are not really a hot deal, you can get new BenQ's for practically the same price.

Yeesh, personally I'd avoid LCD monitor refurbs. If new monitors can have dead pixels, think of your chances with a refurb...

I got 8 HP F70 refurbs and 4 Viewsonic VA720 Refurbs at my office about 3months ago. All purchased for $319 each.

Havent gotten one bad pixel or DOA's. Been using them for 3 months now. Looks great and can't tell the difference between the news ones I've seen at my local comp store.

Then again I don't think i would ever buy a refurb BenQ or Spectre or any of those other non well known companies.

Huh? BenQ not a well-known company? They're the 2nd largest LCD manufacturer in the world!

I personally don't own one of their monitors, but their DLP Projector, which I do own, is great.

Be less retarded plzkthx :) We have numerous LCD's at my work, 3 different brands and the BenQ's are by far the best. The refresh rate is nice and I can see NO ghosting what so ever. I am actually considering getting one of these for comp :)

the one for 349.99 has dvi but its out of stock and i think the responce rate is not as cool as the 16ms that the analog 339 ones have

the albatron from newegg has a responce rate of 15/10 (tr/tf) which means 15+10 = 25 not 16
also the price is now 357 after shipping instead of 355...

thanks for the heads up, I was gonna buy it this weekend.

I thought Aopen was a subsidiary of Acer. :) No reason they both can't be, I guess.

I believe that Acer, Aopen, and Benq are all related.

I have a Dell 20in LCD which was supposed to be made by Benq. My 24x CDR-W is also Benq. Out of all the Taiwanese brands, Acer, Aopen, Benq family brands are more reputable ones.

anyone get one of these yet? I think I am still gonna wait for a 17" with 16ms response and dvi for around $350.

How much of a difference does dvi realy make?

I have two 15 in LCD w/ analog D-Sub 15 pin connection and one 20 in LCD with DVI. I have to say DVI is a lot more clear. Analog connection always does auto adjustment. With DVI, no such thing is necessary.
