Anyone know a good site to get cheap batteries from? I need to stock up on LR44's for my mic and there's no way in hell I'm shelling out $1+ a pop for them. I'd probably buy 20 for now.

I usually check ebay for small batteries like that. I bought 50 watch batteries (I forget the size) for $13 shipped a few weeks ago.

Yeah, I bought a bunch of LR44's on ebay. It was the best deal I could find. Got em in my refrigerator.

A place I've had good luck at is www.amondotech.com for batteries. They have quite a variety of interesting stuff. Got a 2nd battery for my Canon minidv camcorder (Li-on), good price and it works OK so far. Just bought 4 2800 mah nicd tabbed cells there. Got them shipped for under $15 total. They are on their first charge, so far so good.

http://www.batterystation.com/miniflasher.htm $.25 apiece. The website sucks, but they're a reputable battery retailer. Shipping is generally $7 flat.

http://thomasdistributing.com/buttonbatteries.htm#3 $1.35 for a 3 pack (very well-known and reputable site)

http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1288 $.29 apiece (I've bought there before, do yourself a favor and pick up a few of these too: http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1260 they kick ass. Unlike many cheap keychain LEDs, these feature momentary on w/squeeze AND a switch for constant on)
