i want to run a dual cel setup... what's a good board for doing this? i knwo abit made something some time back that gave the ablity to run 2 celerons by flipping some switches or something... does that board also allow you to run P3's?

are there any other boards besides this Abit that will allow you to run dual celerons and will allow for future p3 use?

The highest Celeron that can do dual is the 533 PPGA. The newer ones are not capable of running dual.

As for the board, if you can find BP6, that should be below $100. Otherwise, consider D6VAA.

You can try the Tiger 100 (bx chipset); it run both celeron I and P3's in dual mode. The only problem is you don't get the 1/4 pci divider at 133. This mobo can be found sometimes in the for/sale forum for around $80. Overstock.com gets them in once in a while (factory reconditioned) for around the same price. I have both the Tiger 100 and the Tiger 133 and I can guarantee that the Tiger 100 is a better mobo, faster and more stable. Also, the supermicro p6dbe is also a great dual board, but I never tested it for dual celeron mode (only tried dual p2's and p3's). Good luck!
