cheap amd socket a system needed...any ideas???

i am looking to build a socket a system (750-800mhz)...what are some mobos out there that offer good features but keep price at a minimum?? I need another computer badly in this house :|
thanks...

You could go with one of those new All-in-one mobo's based on the SIS 730 chipset, that would keep costs down as much as possible, but its not great for gaming 🙂 what will the computer be used for?

If gaming is not a prime concern, you can save a good deal of $ by getting video integrated onto the motherboard (like the Sis730 chipset or the KM133). Unfortunately those motherboards aren't talked about as much among this community as the boards based on the KT133A chipset (which doesn't have integrated video, requiring you to get another vid. card). Look for MSI or Asus boards based on these chipsets, these companies make the best. Don't try to go with a lesser brand like PC Chips to save $20, you will regret it.

I picked up an epox7kxa for $99.00 4 mo. ago when I had a classic. But with the 700tbird(epox doesn't support tbirds in this boaard) I got later it wont let me oc past 850. This chip came out of a buddies k7m in which it ran a gig for 6 mon. Also had to flash the bios as soon as I got it going. Its not short of features so the price looks attractive but I'd stay away from this board I had problems with memory and a radeon wouldnt work in it and epox supp sucks. Also the Vio voltage is at a 3.2 nonadjustable default
