You are looking at a socket 754 Newcaslte. They don't make 939 Newcastles. Are those Euro's? Are the Nforce 4 motherboards cheaper or just about the same compared to the nforce 3 chipsets in your area?

If the Nforce 3's are cheaper, then the NF4's are the last place to start for a cheap 939 upgrade.

Trying looking at the Epox 9NDA3+ or the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum 939 Nforce 3 boards.

Faster memory and core clock. The mid-range cards are tightly priced together. In increments of 50 dollars, they are all worth their value.
