Cheap 4U Colo around CA Bay Area or Hartford CT?

Help! Help Help! I'm in desprate search for an affordable co-colcation facility around the Bay Area or around Hartford, CT. We're basically a non-for-profit site (Videogame Music Archive) and unfortunately our cash supplies are very limited. 🙁 Last I checked, we were hitting around 300GB a month in bandwidth and seem to use around 768K of sustained bandwidth.

Cheapest I've been able to find with a excellent package is at CI Host. They're offering the following package for 85/mo.

4U Colocation
DFW/CHI/LAX - 100Mbps connection, 1 power plug w/ UPS, 127 IPs, 1000GB fer, 1 hr. admin time (Free remote hands & eyes) - Linky

Downside is that these folks are all the way down in Los Angeles. Would like a place that I can go to if there were any HW issues.

Why not go with rackshack/ev1servers or something like that, with a dedicated server?
They go from celeron 1.3 ghz, 512 ram, and 700 gigs a month for about a 100 a month, all the way up to dual xeon with 1 gig ram, 1200 gigs a month for around 300 a month?

If your hardware fails on a dedicated server, they replace for free, so no worries there.

We're currently being hosted by RackShack/ev1. Paying 120 bucks a month with that and lets just say we've had a LOT of hardware failures on the machine they've given us (1xfried board, 3xfried hard drive, 1xfried PSU).

You run that site? Good man, you are. That site is awesome. It allows one to have the geekiest cell phone evar. 😎

Yo,
Emerytech in Emeryville (SF Bay Area) offers dirt cheap COLO and cheap bandwidth and has a nice clean facility.

I know some folks that work there, safe place.

I've been hosting with them for almost 2 years now, and have had zero problems whatsoever.

Bolvangar,

If you don't mind me asking.

What are your server specs, which OS, what control panel (if any), price and what's your uptime been like the past 3 months?
