I have an old Dell at work with Q6600, 4 GB RAM, and a very loud, possibly dying GTX 8800 (OEM for Dell, single-slot, single 6-pin power).
I may be installing ubuntu on this for testing and development, and was wondering what cheap (say under $60) card would offer a bit of 3D power under Linux.
I'd ptobably never put Steam on it to use on my lunch break, but you never know
