I want to upgrade my Dell 27” 5K PC monitor to a much cheaper 32” 4K monitor. I am not going be using it for gaming. It only going be use for web surfing, streaming channels, movies, YouTube! I have a 1050ti 4GB with 2 hdmi, dvi and displayport output.

I am looking for a cheap no name 32” monitor that will work for my computer needs.

Cheapest is probably what I have, the Avera 40" 4K UHD TV. I paid $220, then $200, for mine. Walmart this past BF had them briefly for $149.99, almost picked up a third set for the bedroom. Almost.

Yeah, I try out a Sumsung 40” 4K TV - a 7100 model and it just to big for me! I did not like moving my head that much. I think 32” might be the ideal size!

I honestly haven't heard of any 4K TVs that are 32", and I've heard tell that they're discontinuing the 40" 4K panels, for larger ones.

You can still get 32" PC 4K monitors, of course, but you'll pay a lot more than $200 for one, and you said "cheap".

Monoprice has some 4K monitors for $399 (if you wait til one of their sales, they often have like 10-25% off coupons).
Here's their 32": https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=27772

Walmart has some Samsung 28" 4K monitor. IIRC its curved, isn't a great quality panel, and isn't that cheap either.

Walmart.com and Amazon have some ASUS, LG, and others.

Seems like the 32" ones are more around $400 at the lowest (not on sale), but if you can go to 27/28" they're more in the $300 range.

I heard that 32” is going be the next new popular monitor size and price should start dropping in June to clear out 2018 and earlier inventory foe Falls new batch of 32” budget monitors.

i have that monoprice 32 inch.. 4k and well it GETS HOT.
It gets VERY VERY HOT, that i had to mount fans behind it and blow into the speaker holes to cool the LCD panel because the metal bezels were getting a bit too toasty for my taste. \

Its a beautiful monitor tho, but just gets really hot, which i think most 4K monitors have this issue.

Uh oh.
I have a 32" Monoprice 34712 monitor on the way - the model that maxes at 2560x1440. Hope it's not like THAT.

Also wondering how far away I can sit and still read. Hoping to mount it on a display stand behind the desk.

Issue with low-end 4K TV's, not monitors, but TV's, the colors suck and the built-in processors are terrible/laggy.

Monitors are the way to go, not TV's. Imagine in-put lag, ick..
