I am looking for recommendations for a $150-175 TV for a vacation rental property . It looks like my brand choices in that price range are ESA, Sylvania, JVC, and Sharp. ( I could buy locally in Atlanta at BB, CC, BrandsmartUsa, WM. Buying at Costco would be my first choice but my last trip to Costco I didn't fing any low end TVs. Which of these brands would be best ? - thanks

I own a sharp, and I just bought my gf a sylvania -I like sharp more. TV's are pretty solid unless you buy some no-name from walmart.

if u can find a jvc at the price, i would go that route. i got my 27" jvc at pc richards (this might be a chain local to NY/NJ) for $180 + tax

ps - i am not a big fan of sharp tv's. i bought one for my dad a few xmas' ago and i did not like the fact that when u change channels, there is a slight pause between each channel. maybe that was a model specific problem... i dunno.

I got an Apex 27" at Sams club for $159. It is flat and has component, svideo, and composite inputs. It's a nice tv for the price.

JVC out of those brands. The EX went through this dilemma 2 months ago - we picked out a nice JVC for like $189 at Fry's I think, normally about $240. Not a flat front but it was better than any of the other brands in that price range.
