OK I WANTED A SONY E200 BUT TRYING TO FIND ONE IS LIKE TRYING TO FIND THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES ON CHRISTMAS EVE.
I was figuring I could save 1/3 of the trinitron price right away by choosing a shadow mask. I don't prefer them but they are cheaper and still run hi res.
Models which caught my eye are Philips 107S11 or 107E11.
Hansol too. CTX VL700 maybe.
The americans are insanely lucky with cheap monitor prices. $120 for the philips, it costs £150 over here.

Yes and if the samsung doesn't work, well then out of the ones you mentioned, go for the CTX. I think i heard something about the Hansol too. Check cnet.com. i think they reviewed a Hansol model.
