where do i connect my chassis intrusion alarm to the mobo?

depends on video card your using only the geforce 6800 and radeon x800pro or higher need it so far but if you do have one of those cards the connector is on the card

i have the 6600gt and i don't see one, so should i assume that it's not there and i don't need the connector?

there is no power connector on the 6600gt rest assured

Here`s a pic where it goes on this 6800GT PCI Express card. ,if you don`t have it on yours then you are safe to install it without.

You have a 6600GT they don`t have one.

Not all motherbaords have that feature. I would be willing to bet yours probably doesn't
