Best cure for a hangover is... (drumroll please)

Don't drink in the first place.

If you're gonna drink so much that you get sick, at least be a man and deal with it. If you don't want the hangover, don't look for 'miracle' cures, the best cure is common sense.

Well, for me either:
- I drink enough to wake up drunk, and no hangover
OR
- I wake up feeling fuzzy, but fine, no headache, not really a hangover at all.
OR
- I wake up perfectly fine.

Only been two exceptions to that when I have gotten an actual hangover. Generally, I make sure I drink a big glass of water before going to bed, and feel fine in the morning. And I have had more than my share of heavy drinking.

I've never had a hangover from drinking 6 drinks before anyway. Besides, Gatorade or water works better than any of this snake oil in the first place.

Didn't they use something like this on the 'Revenge of the Nerds' movie? You know, when Toshiro Takashi had to ride the tricycle around for 20 laps and drink a beer each lap?!?! :D

Incredible.......

You would if you drink the way I'm referring to.

If the way your talking about is 18 beers, 8 shots, and a bottle of champagne, then no, we still don't. I have also never gotten a hangover from 27 beers, or 30 shots(70 proof) and a 6 pack. But those are more extreme situations. I normally never get a hangover from killing an 18 pack as long as I drink lots of water and I get something in my stomach like taco bell. I do get hangovers when I don't keep myself hydated the day of drinking, especially if I had a tough workout the morning of and didnt drink enough fluids by the time I started boozing. I've tried these pills before, and they are complete BS. Don't waste your money.

Look screwhead, do you even know what causes a hangover?

Listen to what everyone else who has a clue has said. DRINK WATER. Screw the pills they're BS.

Water is the best, no pain relievers, unless you want to really hurt yourself.

Very good advice on staying away from the pain relievers. Anything with ibuprofen can cause stomach bleeding, and anything with acetaminophen(sp?) can cause liver damage.

No, we don't.

Agreed. No matter how much I drink, If i drink 4-6 glasses of water at night and pop a few ibuprofen before I go to sleep, I wake up good. If I wake up in the middle of the night I drink more water too.

Hangovers are so avoidable.... as long as your not too drunk to forget the water.

i don't see why everyone is insisting they're bs.

some people digest alcohol very well, and get no hangovers. the recent pills aim at stimulating that digestion, and probably only work on people who get hangovers from just a couple beers, but everyone's body is slightly different so who knows.

Lets call the study group my friends. We all basically never get hangovers because we drink water after we drink. So we bought a couple of packs of Chaser and said "hey great, we don't gotta drink all that water and wake up to piss in the night" So drinking chaser and the recommended amount of water, we had a slight hangover the next day. So drinking lots of water > just popping chaser. And the water is free too.
