Has anybody tried this product "Chaser?" Apparently, it will prevent a hangover and have you refreshed feeling fine the morning after a night of drinking. 2 pills for up to 6 drinks...take 2 more for more than 6 drinks. I'm thinking about buying some. Text

its probably bs.

i have heard that the vitamin B complex helps reduce hangovers. this is a widely held belief in the homebrewing community since homebrew has a lot of vitamin B.

If I were you, I would try taking some Vit B adn drinking a lot of water before I shelled out any money for that stuff.

Look you screwheads, after a heavy night of drinking, we all get hangovers. That is why Im considering this product. After a night of many, many shots and beers, it would be something helpful.

Drink lots of water, pop two advil, and you'll wake up feeling fine. I've never encountered any amount of alcohol that makes this untrue.

Doesnt this stuff supposedly take out those evil nasty "toxins" that cause migranes. Kind of like the toxins that ms.information was talking about in south park.

Incredible.......

You would if you drink the way I'm referring to.

Actually, I've gotten a hangover twice. Once from wine and beer, the other from a lot of cognac. Otherwise it's a slight headache which goes away within an hour of awaking. It has nothing to do with you are drinking more than any of us drink. It all has to do with the way your body handles it. I don't think it's worth the money. Just have a few sips of water as you drink. Or--don't drink at all.

It probably says take pills with four glasses of water. Must be miracle pills!

I've used it a few times...
The first test I drank ~14 drinks over a 5 hour period taking the appropriate amount of pills. In the morning my entire body ached and my stomach hurt, but no headache!

My second testing I made sure to have a bite to eat and a few glasses of water before bed (after a similar amout of drinking). Much better results, my muscles were a little sore, but no headache and I felt alot better than normal.

The other times I've noticed similar results. I'd say Chaser is a little better than advil, but the water and food play a bigger role.

I've found the quality of the liquor makes a big difference.

Back when I was still drinking, we all went out to our favorite bar to try out their power hour special one night. (Most) well drinks were $1/each. Looking back, I don't remember how much I had, but it wasn't all that much considering we went there at 8:30 and power hour was over at 9. If I had to ballpark it, it was probably 6 rum and cokes and maybe 3 beers. The well rum was TERRIBLE, possibly the worst I've ever had. Normally that's not enough to give me a hangover, but the next morning my head hurt so bad I had to lay in bed for two hours before I could even move.

Another time I drank half a bottle of Cuervo 1800 by myself, the next day my stomach hurt a little, but it wasn't all that bad.

I don't think this Chaser stuff is RU-21 (because that's only recently been approved), but at least that has FDA backing.

My doctor was telling me of a drug ( I forget the name ) that does prevent hangovers. He told me he researched it himself to see if it is actually true or not (Would be fun researching that drug :p ) and it does.
