Chart to show GPU scale with CPU?

Does anyone know of a review that shows how different GPU's scale with different CPU's?

I have an old system that I want to upgrade for as little as possible. Its an old TBred 2400 with 1GB of RAM on an Epox 8KHA+ (With good caps!) that I would like to use for Linux and Vista. I currently have a Matrox G400 but was thinking of an Nvidia 6200 or maybe 6600 based graphics card for it, but I am open to suggestions. I don't want to spend much, and would just like to find a balance point between performance and price for that system.

Thanks!
Dave

I was looking for a DX9 card and more memory mainly for the Aero Glass feature in Vista, and possibly some gaming, as well good driver support for Linux (Nvidia vs. say ATI)... I already have a fair gaming system, so while I may do some gaming on it, its not a priority.
