Com'n, nobody here read Gunslinger series?
Great series. I'm reading Wolves of the Calla right now having just finished Wizard and Glass (which was the best book I'd ever read). So far WotC is right up there as well!Originally posted by: Spoooon

Poppycock! It's the best one!Originally posted by: Argo
I loved the Wastelands. I'm reading The Wizard and Glass now. Most people say it's not as good as the Wastelands, but I like it so far.
There are two more. The next one is called "The Song of Susanah" and comes out in June. The final one, "The Dark Tower" comes out in September.Originally posted by: Argo
Is The Wolves of Calla the last book in the series or is there supposed to be more?

Indeed. I thought the flashback was the best story King has told in the entire series. It was awesome, especially the ending. The characters were just fantastic. I love Cuthbert!Originally posted by: azazyel

Depends on how you like the flashback. I enjoyed it and I loved the ending. Can't wait for the new one to come out.
I've always thought that as well.Originally posted by: MrChad
I always the series would make a terrific anime movie. It's got just the right mix of sci-fi, fantasy and violence.

Personally, I think the first book (the gunslinger) is the best. Simple, mysterious, very western. The series has morphed into something totally different...not that I don't love it, but I've probably read the gunslinger 4 times for each time I've read the other books in the series.
