Charles Barkley is an IDIOT!

I hate freaking watching him on TV and listening to him talk. He always says the dumbest crap that freaking pisses me off!!! Not sure why, but I really hate this guy and wonder how he got a job doing what he does. I mean, obviously it was because of his career in the NBA, but he is hardly qualified for his job. Why the FVCK would TNT want to hire him? He's awful!!!!

Anyone else hate this guy as much as me?

I think he's great. After the Olympics....ah that guy is classic.

Madden....there's a guy we can talk about.

"I think he should run the ball down the field. Yeah, that's what I would do".

Thanks. Great insight....

Step away from the TV..

charles barkley is the greatest nba analyst ever. if you want to complain about someone, there's a fellow by the name of bill walton.

Leave Charles alone. I like the guy. He doesn't mince his words and he tells it like it is.

Chuck is just there to make things colorful, not necessarily for his insight. He fills his role pretty well. I can't imagine anyone would rather watch the espn guys. Greg Anthony and Tim Legler are as dry as it gets. On top of that, they have as little credibility as former players can have. I'm still trying to figure out why David Aldridge isn't a full-time analyst somewhere.

Charles is great but he is an absolute nutcase.

Edit: I do love it when ESPN's GameDay crew interviews him before Auburn games. 🙂

he's there for color commentary, which he is great at. So far he hasn't stepped over the line and gotten fired. As long as he doesn't do that, he'll have a job as an analyst somewhere.

He'd be just another boring analyst if he wasn't a nutcase. 😉

I guess...I don't watch basketball (I can't stand it)...so I really only hear him when he's talking about Auburn football, making outrageous claims about "white people" (he's married to a white woman IIRC 🙂), or spouting off about running for governor. 🙂

The one thing I like about him is that he's honest in his assessments. He may rub a few out there in an annoying way; you can't please everybody.

Sometimes, people like "Sir Charles" from time to time, turn off a few, but since Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods vouch for him, that's speaks louder than words. No matter, I like Charles Barkley.

Yes, Honest. I love how right he was about the Mavs last season (until he jumped on the bandwagon towards the end). All regular season he dogged on them. I don't mind the guy but he does have a bias against them. Then again, I am a Mavs fan...

Charles Barkley is hilarious, best when he doesn't think before he speaks, altho sometimes is a moron.

Scottie Pippen is someone I'd like to hear more from. Can be boring but has the best insight.

Chuck rocks. He doesn't sugar coat, which is nice. If Walton is announcing I'll either mute the TV or change the station. I can't stand the way he talks or what he actually says.
