CHarging a car battery

I have a battery charger that doesn't get used much but one of my cars is dead becase it's been sitting all winder. The charger has two sets of setting to choose from.

6volts / 12 volts
and
2 amps / 10 amps.

I'm assuming for a car I'd use 12 and 10 but is that right? Just wanted to check here before I hook it up and blow up the battery. 🙂

If the battery has been sitting dead, it may not hold a charge very well any more...might want to get ready to replace it.

12 volts sounds good.
