I think Caldwell had posession until his knee hit....

what a tough loss....

he fumbled. he clearly did not have control of it before his knee hit and the ball already began its descent towards the ground. it was ripped out by sheldon brown, and i see it as a justified call. and this is coming from a sd-resident who will have to hear water cooler talks about that play for the next 5 days or so.

all that matters is that the ball was moving before his knee was down, the angle you saw it from on TV wasn't very good...the ball was travelling out of his arm before his knee hit the ground. That's a fumble.

It was obviously coming out and he was losing control before his knee was down. Im a Philly fan but unbias.

All the televised replay angles were too maddeningly close to definitively call - and the call on the field stands if there isn't clear, definitive proof with which to overturn it.

The football gods were with the Eagles today - poetic justice for holding the best running back in the game to seven total yards.

Doesn't matter. This is as good as the injured McNabb and the 70% passing Eagles team is going to get. And it's not good enough to win out in the playoffs.

it doesnt matter because the spread was eagles by 4 and they won by 3. so they suck
