Greetings everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the PlexWriter drives that have black bezels. I read on Plextor's site that they are available through OEM distributors. Also does anyone know of a good site to purchase black drives? I only know of Directron.com so far. I bought an Antec SX1030B in case you are wondering.

I phoned plextor recently. THe sales representative informed me that black bezeled drives are no longer being produced.

As Shooter said, Thortek has them. I just happened to be checking out black CDRW units and they have a black bezel for the Plextor for $35 (as well as full units).
 
It's amazing what spray paint can do! I bought from thortek and they charge way too much! THey just spray paint the bezels.
 
I spray painted my own bezels, and it looks great. Just use some liquid sandpaper on them before you paint, they'll look cool.
