Why is NuclearNed not elite? If anybody deserves it, he does.

Or maybe the custom title "Bee Killer" or "Bee's Bane"

The last couple of NN tales were admittedly a bit disappointing - it was almost like seeing your favorite sports hero's skills fading with age...you still love him and pray for a comeback.

Ned has apparently dipped into Barry Bonds' stash - he is back with a vengeance and hitting homers again. Thanks for another funny yarn.

I had a similar experience not long ago, which was resolved in large part by the use of my shop-vac.

Basically sounded like:

amusing, but have you considered the world wide crisis in the bee population with bee populations crashing all around the globe? surely there is another way to deal with recalcitrant bees.

Yellow jackets are not bees. They are insidious, evil demon-spawn, bred in the darkest depths of hell and unleashed on this earth for one reason only: to sow pain and misery amongst its many inhabitants.

I also ran over a yellow jacket nest with a lawn mower once. Got three stings on my legs. All told, I have received seven stings from yellow jackets, wasps, or hornets, and not a one from an actual honeybee. Thankfully I'm not allergic, but I am still terrified of them.

Yep. Yellow jackets and wasps actually bother honeybees so destroying them helps out the good hives.

YellowJackets are wasps.
They are not bees.

Wasps have nests.
Bees have hives.

The stinger of a wasp has no barbs.
The bees have barbs whcih cause the stinger to stay caught - pulling out will kill the bee.

Wasps have no scruples - they will attack out of meanness.
Bees attack in self defense of themselves (when they are tangles up) or when they feel the hive is threatened.

Yellow Jackets die if Ned finds them.
Wasps die if Ned finds them.
Bees die if Ned finds them.

They're all the same. :p
