yep...
i have "larger" lips as well, and they get very chapped.
what i do is get a teaspoon of sugar, and a bit of vasoline.
i mix the two together and apply the mixture on my lips rubbing in circular motions. Let it sit for about 2 minutes and rinse it gently with warm not hot water. then, apply a VERY moisturizing lip balm (even more vasoline) on them. do that a few times per week.
also, drink more water than usual and use a lip balm before going to bed too.
it works!
Yep. Chapstick, Vasoline, etc. have been proven to make you feel temporarilly better but also to prolong and even cause chapped lips. Those products trick your body into stopping producing the natural chemicals your lips need to be healthy. Basically, you become dependant on them. The only way is to go cold turkey. Once you are off them, remember you have an addiction. Only use it sparingly and only temporarilly on the worst chapped lips days.Originally posted by: Jzero
Stop using chapstick. Stop licking your lips. It will get worse before it gets better, but it will get better.

so you don't need to apply anything all day? see, i think it's different for men and women...don't you have lipstick on all day?
