chaning my uh..irc address?

I like to keep my name and stuff private a lot online, but it seems people on IRC always know who i really am, it shows my address to them as ~jacktackle@X-33A8412E.yaddayadda.net, it's not really jacktackle or yadda yadda, that's just an example, how can i change that?

You could ask your server owner to block IP addresses of the users.

I know some people know what i mean, it's rather important to me. Maybe it's my Identd address? I'm not sure, i want to change it though.

Well i found out it's in my mIRC info somehow (apparently I'm the only person the planet who uses IRC =p). I still can't seem to change it though. Anyone know how?
