Can anyone help me in changing this to another folder and drive than the default? My C drive is limited to 2.5 gb as I didn't expect to use this function.

TIA

Go to
"My computer"
right click on writer
then "properties"
last tab should show "recording"
There's a setting under there to change the drive for the temp file.
I don't see a way to set a folder on the drive.;)

Supposedly you can change the drive, however I found out it wouldn't work. I only had 200 mb of space left on my D drive, (XP installation drive...default temp folder), so I changed the drive to E, which had a good 4 GB left. Try to burn a cd..."you have run out of space blahblahnfijrhnrgjkdas". Grrr.

If you have TweakUI:

Expand the My Computer section
Click on Special Folders
Select CD Burning from the drop down menu
Click Change Location
