changing volts's

Is there any good website that has a "how to" to switch fan voltage speeds, I know theres 7v but I heard you can get a lot more combos.

As far as I know, the only way to achieve lower voltage using only wire mods, is to replace the ground wire with the 5V wire, thus achieving 7V. To get any other voltages, I would think you would have to purchase a rheostat, where you can manually adjust the resistance and get differing voltage out depending on what setting you have it at.

Or you can use the 5 volt hot and 5 volt return to get 5 volts. Easy.
