Well my mobo is pretty much not that great, everything i did to overclock was through software except i had to set the jumpers to change fsb lol. anyway my sempron 2400 is not stable once i get a little over 2.1Ghz should i even try to get it to go further and up the voltage or would it fry it? also i've got a thunderbird in one of my computers thats low-performance so i could just stick the semrpon i nthat and try to overclock using the multiplier on the athlon only thing is that my ram would have to run at effective 200fsb and its DDR400, i dont think the thunderbird is stable at much over 100 htt, but it is at 1.739v right now so would it be stable at a higher frequency than the sempron?

well the stupid thunderbird wont unlock for anything, the wire method or the pencil trick on the L1 bridges maybe it was made special for gateway

so can i change voltage on my sempron2400? also how do you know when your voltage is too high? will you notice a temp rise and if your temp gets too high it will fry right? i think i can change voltage safely if i had a program to do it, and i've got a 60°C shutdown temp and it better not fry before that
